Adjustment of the potentiometer
Adjusting method [applied voltage 10 V, dummy bolt (A)]
1. Hold the dummy bolt (A) against the control lever at position N = N1, Q = Q1.
Fix using the lock nut.
2. When adjusting the potentiometer, position the control lever to contact the dummy bolt (A).
Adjust the potentiometer so that the output voltage V is V1.
3. Remove the dummy bolt (A) after the completion of adjustment.
Confirm that the potentiometer output voltage is within the above mentioned standards between the control lever's adjusting point and the idling position.

Adjustment of the V-FICD (vacuum-type fast idle control device)
1. Adjust so that the clearance between the control lever pin and the actuator rod is S1.
2. Adjust the actuator stroke adjusting screw so that L is obtained when negative pressure P1 {P2} is applied to the actuator.
3. Confirm that the clearance between the actuator body and the W-CSD housing is at least S2 after adjustment of V-FICD.
